I am trying to connect my surround sound system ... I have connected a Direct TV HD receiver to my TV with an HDMI cable. My receiver is a little older, so there is no HDMI port. Who component and RCA connectors. My Direct TV receiver also has component and RCA connectors. Can I use my surround sound on a television receiver without a direct connection to the TV?
